C&S Child Care Inc. is a licensed childcare provider serving Delta since 2007. Our teachers have their Early Childhood Certificates, criminal record checks and first aid. C&S Child Care Inc. offers a play based program which provides children the opportunity to develop their skills in all areas. We offer a variety of learning experiences including fine arts, science and nature.

At C&S Child Care Centre, we are deeply committed to providing high-quality early childhood education and nurturing child care. Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that a child care centre should feel like more than just a place of business—it should feel like a community, a family, and most importantly, a home away from home.
We value and support not only the children and families who are part of our centre, but also our dedicated Educators, who play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming environment. Our approach is play-based, grounded in the strong belief, shared by both Owners, that play is the most natural and effective way for young minds to learn, grow, and thrive.
At the heart of everything we do is a desire to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where everyone feels seen, respected, and joyful. Our top priorities are for children to feel secure, supported, and inspired to explore the world around them through play. We aim to foster authentic experiences that spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and celebrate each child’s individuality.

Philosophy
Here at “C&S Child Care Inc.” we believe that children are our future. We provide a childcare system that is safe, child centered, inclusive, culturally sensitive, and most importantly FUN. C&S Child Care Inc. will provide children with daily routines that cover their holistic development, while focusing on their Emotional, Social, Cognitive, and Physical well being. We believe that not only do the children learn with us, but we also learn from them
History of the Program
“C&S Child Care Inc.” began as Holly’s High Hopes Child Care Centre in Nov 2007 by Carmen Halpenny and Stephanie Maitland. These two women have such a passion for teaching and learning with children. They met in December 2005 at High Hopes Preschool where they became co-workers and friends. “C&S Child Care Inc.” looks forward to having your family become part of our family. Together as business partners, Carmen & Steph incorporated their company in January 2013 now known as “C&S Child Care Inc.”
Program Funding
“C&S Child Care Inc.” is privately owned by Carmen Halpenny and Stephanie Maitland. Carmen has been in the ECE field for over 20 years. Stephanie entered into the field in 2005. C&S Child Care Inc. has also opted into the Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI) Note this is subject to change annually, pending the Government terms & conditions.
Programs
We offer 3 programs:
1 – Preschool (PS) for children aged 31 months to 5 years
2 – Group daycare (DC) for children aged 36months to 5 years
3 – Out of School Care (OSC) for children ages 5 years to 12 years.
